The 825, originally released in Germany, is known for its accurate tracking, exceptional build quality and outstanding musical performance. It offers extensive signal conditioning, ultrafast PPS film capacitors and a fast, fully balanced output stage.
Lindemann says the 825 is the first CD player to offer a Class 2 USB interface that can handle music at 24-bit 192kHz rates. They say that the player accepts all customary data formats, but sadly there's not a full list available.
An advanced DAC is built in to the 825, and is electrically isolated. It has its own power supply and its own transformer windings.
You can pick up the 825 High Definition Disc Player now from Aaudio Imports for $12,500.
