The HD 990 offers a pair of digital to analog converters with third generation Real-Time Linear Smoothing to help create spacious and detailed sound. It also sports high frequency synchronization and jitter-free clock synchronization so there's nothing getting in the way of enjoying your music.
Harman Kardon's HK 990 was designed to complement the HD 990 and is the most powerful amplifier the company has on the market today. It boasts high-current capability, low negative feedback and dual pathing technology that allows for pure analog and pure digital processing.
The HK 990 steps things up a bit from the HD 990 by bringing fourth generation Real-Time Linear Smoothing to the table. It's also equipped with EZSet/EQ II tech to allow the amp to be tuned specifically for your room.
The HD 990 CD player is available now at a price of $699, while the HD 990 integrated amplifier can be had for $2,599.
