Not really, the old Mpeg 2 HD channels are still channel 72 thru 79 but all the new Mpeg 4 channels share the channel number with their SD counterparts, Confused?
OK, History channel is 269, History channel HD is also 269, if you are subscribed to the HD channels when you manually key in 269 it goes to the HD channel.
However you must go in & choose the HD channels in the favorites guides to get them when you push select in the guide.

Confused still, well sorry that's the best I know how to explain it.
