Re: DirectTV to have over 100 HD channels
HOORAY!!! Can't wait to get to VT this weekend and start perusing the new offerings! We have cable here in NY (Optimum from Cablevision) and just added one of the new Tivo Series 3 HD DVRs to our setup. Used to have DirecTV here as well but got tired of the bad reception every time there was even a hint of a storm.
My only real complaint with the HD channel offerings on cable is that I really miss HDNet and ESPN2HD (which they presently don't offer) but love the fact that I can program Tivo recordings from anywhere I have an internet connection (even from my iPhone) which is great when we forget about a program we wanted to watch or wind up not getting home in time. |
