The Brittish Open in HD was bad-ass
The camera work when they would zoom in on iron shots really low and you could see the kind of golfball and clubs the players were using was amazing. ABC also has this new technology that using a radar dish can track the balls in flight and then they show an actual diagram on what looks like a relief map of the players drives and approcah shots. They show the ball speed, spin, clubhead speed, etc. It is fascinating and at the same time, makes us hackers feel like we suck at golf since we can't hit 300 yard 3 woods with 128 mph clubhead speed like Sergio Garcia..

That is really cool because normally the feed doesn't look as good as THe Masters since the courses look brown and almost dead this time of year. Compared to Agusta with the vivid green grass and beautiful flowers - it just takes to HDTV better.
