New Shows - Mid 2009
Well the new shows are starting to appear on network TV these days. Not just the major networks but the cable networks as well. Some of the existing series are continuing with all new shows.
On NBC the new season of the British spin off America's Got Talent has started with a two hour block on Tuesday. The pilot show for The Phalentralist was aired following the second 1 hour showing of America's Got Talent on Wednesday. Both had a lot of action accompanied with the dreaded macroblocking that is caused by low bitrates. Low bitrates due to the subchannels they seem to have to use. There are several other series with their new shows out like The Cleaner, In Plain Sight, and Burn Notice on cable. I'm sure we can name more. Anyone want to chime in on their favorites this season? |
