Scrubs Gets HD Upgrade
After seven seasons of laughs, ABC's "Scrubs" is finally getting the boost to HD. It is very surprising that this move did not occur two seasons ago, however, better late than never. The new season will begin in midseason, and speculation has Scrubs' eighth season being the last.

Star of the show, Zach Braff has made statements showing his intent to leave after this season. "My sense is this is my last year." Producers and creators of the show will try to keep the show alive by bringing in a new cast, much like "ER."

The show's creator, Bill Lawrence does have the finale already written. He has had it ready for four years. Rumor has it that the janitor's name will finally be revealed. For now though, enjoy the ABC comedy in its new HD broadcast.

Re: Scrubs Gets HD Upgrade
ABC seems to be late to HD. The local ABC station was the last to go to HD for their newscast compared to our NBC and CBS stations. They did have a HD camera mounted on a pole that showed a freeway that they showed a few seconds each newscast so they could say they were "first in HD" but their studio cameras were still SD.
