my opinion on this topic is ear fatigue.ever try to listen to a cd for a long peroid of time?
my ears get tired much sooner listening to digital music.the bass does'nt feel natural to my ears. i'm not saying sacd's and shm's don't sound good.it's pointless to go vinyl if the studio recorded the musician on digital master tape.unless you cant get the hi def version.but the beatles for example were recorded on analogue master tape.no way any digital copy of beatles/stones/hendrix/cream...etc etc.. is going to sound better than a good vinyl disc.and thats the music that i love the most.so ill take VINYL. my rega p-3 sounds dam good. |

I hope you don't mean the USA versions as they took George Martins 4 channel Mono Masters and mixed them in to stereo. |

either way you can't make analogue sound better by digitizing it.
