HI There,
I work in a school and we have two projector systems running for our theatres but both have the same problem. When we switch from a powerpoint slide show to windows media player there is a fraction of a second drop out and the projectors go to their blue screen and then to the video. This is no good during a drama production. I don't think it is the projectors because one is a benq and the other an epson. I think it is the change over in the computer. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Some sort of continuous signal sender ? Any help would be good. Thankyou Till |

Interesting. How do you make the switch? Do you exit one program and load the next, or use the icons on the taskbar. Also what is the operating system and is this a laptop PC? Also are you using HDMI?

I am using a pc with windows XP. The computer is set for Dual screens, the second one connected to the projector. Powerpoint and Win media have been set up to play full screen on the second screen. We open powerpoint as the back ground and at the right time double click on the video file which then over rides powerpoint and plays the video. When the video is finished we shut down win media and it automatically goes back to the powerpoint slide show. The glitches occur at the opening and closing of win media.

Maybe try a different video player like VLC because it sounds like media player is messing with the resolution when it is switched to. Are you using VGA, DVI or HDMI?
