I will be having a showing in a fairly large room, around 150 people. How many lumens are needed to get a bright, clear picture big enough for a large group to see? If I show a Blue Ray DVD, do I need a special projector, or will any projector just show at its maximum resolution? Don't know if it will be completely dark or not.
The venue has a Canon 4,000 lumen projector. Should it have native wide screen resolution for 16:9 blue ray or DVD? I will greatly appreciate any help. Thanks..... Len |

To get full resolution you will need a 1080p projector and to get a high lumen output it will not be cheap. Go to www.projectorcentral.com where they have calculators for every projector.
