Is this dust

Hi - please take alook at these images from my sanyo LCD projector. Do you think it is dust? The pictures show the offending material focussed with the projected image out of focus and what the projected iamge looks like whne it is correctly focussed to view. I used compressed air to blow out the LCD panels but have seen no improvement. Could there be dust elsewhere or is this a more significant issue?
