This product had all the markings of a great component but unfortantely fell short.

Do any of you have one? Do you get good results with it?

It seemed like a few software changes could potentially save the system.

Hi All,

If you are referring to the new Spyder TVPro 2007 at about $1,000 it definitely does fall short. We recently launched a new ISF/ADI lite seminar, which is a one day seminar that teaches dealers the basics of calibration. We used the Spyder at the first 20 sessions across the country, and all of the instructors, including yours truly, found that it did nothing correctly. It is not surpising that a fully automated tool like that doesn't work well as calibration requires a human with skills to check against the mistakes that meters ultiimately make.
