kennyt is right. We ALL need to know how much money we are dealing with here. And Jerry made an excellent suggestion on the NetFlix account. And tigeraudio2007 on the 7.1 vs. 5.1.
I would only say that I was leaning as well to the Onyko 805 as well. It has right at this moment, everything you need as far as inputs/outputs and features. This way, you will not be obsolete for sometime, hopefully. I believe, you always get what you can, at the present time. But, we all need to know, where you stand with the dollars. |

Glad to see I'm not the only one who's running 5.1 in my main rig (well in the bedroom too!)

I bailed on 5.1 in the bedroom.
I hade a denon and gallo system in there but that room is not the Gym. In my new bedroom I didn't pop for 5.1 and honestly, I don't miss it. I watch TV in there so I spend the money on getting a GOOD HDMI cable (the dtrovision) from my rack (in the closet) to my Panasonic Pro 50 inch plasma. I also spent on the Kevin Miller calibration.

I occasionally watch movies in there and really appreciate the 5.1.

The movies you watch in the bedroom don't come in 5.1.

OK, so I am busted....
I actually do watch some REAL movies in there, and don't forget all the TV I watch in there. Extreme 4x4 does come in 5.1!
