What is the biggest problem currently in your system?

Any front projector with a good scaler and anamorphic lens can do what you ask, it is not possible on a flat panel or RPTV.

Having owned both Crestron and AMX - I would recomend Crestron.

Do you really need $15,000 worth if you are in the biz? The cost on one of those systems should be more than 4 or 5k if you are the programmer. Maybe I am missing the scope of the gear you need such as a 17 inch touch pannel (saw an AMX one at CEDIA that was HUGE!!!)

My biggest problem is rack space. I've been hunting for a solid rack that can be used on the highly irregular floor tile my house is done in. the rack needs to have excellent access to the rear, be stable under heavy load (I suspect 500 lbs is possible) and have adjustability or at least flexibility to be modified easily.

Oh and it has to be free standing.... after month of hunting I am pretty sure it doesn't exist, now it's a matter of deciding what I am willing to compromise on.

Problem solved!
I got a Denon AVR3808CI with 4 HDMI inputs, and several more are now available so it shouldn't be difficult to find a good HDMI receiver anymore.

I just put an end to this dilemma, I purchased and sucessfully programmed a TX1000 Medius, if you don't mind the shape, price and programming is nearly perfect. I am even trying to pursuit controlling my fans with it.
