I need info again....as far as 7.1 inputs are concerned...do the LG BD300 or Samsung BD-2500/2550 meet the criteria. I ask that because Netflix is enabling video streaming through these particular players. I've belonged to Netflix for the last million years so I was hoping I could get the best of both worlds...the best audio through the Lex and convenient video through the internet....the quality of the downstreaming I'm NOT quite sure about!!!!! + BluRay video.

Yes the BDP-S550 does decode DTS MA as long as you have a receiver that can decode DTS MA.

If your Bluer ray is decoding the DTS MA why does the receiver/amp have to decode it also as it should just amplify the analog information it is receiving from the multi channel analog outhputs.
