These subwoofers are amazing! I just put a pair in my system. The bass is felt and heard with the right track to showcase it. I'm only running one now until next week when my second cable arrives for connecting them both.

Found an old microphone XLR cable that was long enough hooked them up today and all I can say is WOW! What a difference the second sub adds as far as smoothing out the bottom end. Two of these are supposedly the equivilent to the Gotham but with more power than the Gotham(2800 vs 5000). The room seems to be better balanced now in the low end. I'm still waiting for my second cable and Y arrive next week.

Its huge.

I am likely going to add another sub for my theater just get the more even sound you spoke of. Its no small effect.
