I've been breaking in my PS3 Blu-Ray player for two years now...just watch movies. No change in calibration at all over that period....

Myth in my opinion - I think that our ears "break-in" and get used to the sound. My wife gave me a new pre-amp (God I love her) for Christmas and I listen to it everyday - Sounds just as good today as it did Dec 25.
