Need a portable video in recording device
I have a camera system on my boat that is primarily used to view video but not record. It has a component video out plug on the back that you can record video out from. What is probably my best bet for capturing the video. I know I could get a usb recorder and record to my laptop but I would like to avoid that if possible. Is there any device, like an ipod or similar that would record from a video out plug?

buy a dvd recorder now a days these are readinly available with atleast 200 Gb hard disk space from Panasonic
