Reel-to-reel dilemma
 

Just joined the A/VR Forum today. I'm retired Navy and some (long) time ago bought a TEAC X1000r deck. Haven't used in some time and my daughter (in college) doesn't have any need/use for it (no small wonder). I'd like to sell it. It's still in the box, with less than 20+/- hours on it. Can anyone give me some advice as to what it's worth and best avenue to advertise?

www.Audiogon.com may be a good place to start. Think of it as Ebay for audiophiles. There are a few threads mentioning the x1000r and you could also research what other similar models are going for on the site.
