Martin Logan Summits (woofers disconnected) along side of Magneplanar Tympani IV bass panels (modified). Center speaker is Martin Logan Logos. Eminent Technology TRW-17 rotary subwoofer. Rear channels utilizing (4) Gallo Nucleus Micro's. Side channels using (2) Gallo Nucleus Micro's and (2) Spica TC-50'S. Arcam AVR600 receiver driving front, rear and side speakers except the Magneplanar Tympani bass panels. Magneplanar bass panels driven by Audio Research D400 MKII power amp, which is controlled separately by Mark Levinson 380s preamp. The rotary subwoofer is powered by Eminent Technology's controller which pitches the fan blades. Source components include a Oppo BDP-83 SE blueray player and PS Audio's Perfectwave System. The video projector is a BarcoGraphics 808 CRT with HD Fury and GammaX. The room is (29' L x 19' W X 11' cathedral ceiling) acoustically treated with 36 ASC tube traps . Equipment cabinet is mounted on separate concrete foundation in a separate control room.

haven't seen a reel-to-reel in a while.. nice retro. I remember as a kid in the 70's, our rich neighbor had a reel-to-reel...man did music sound great on that through a nice set of Sennheiser headphones. Probably one of the early audio experiences that got me hooked on great gear.

What is a good street price for an Emminent Techonologies TRW-17 rotary woofer? Went to their website for some great tech reading on them to understand how they work so efficiently.
