WOW!
Even I couldn't convince the wife to let me do that in the living room!

This is the Center Channel Array - composed of (3) Snell LCR 2800, (2) Snell Sub 1800, and (2) Murata Super Tweeters - powered currently by (10) McIntosh MC-2102 Vacuum Tube Amplifiers (Bridged - Balanced Mode), and (2) Mark Levinson No. 33H.
Of the hundreds of times I have seen Star Wars, even the great 70mm 6-track Magnetic roadshows of the late 70's and early 80's, I have never experienced being in the that universe the way that it looks, sounds, and FEELs inside The Kipnis Studio Standard. A recent demonstration reduced a 45 year old adult to tears, saying "I'm 15 again! I feel 15, again!!!" www.kipnis-studios.com |

Here is the Left Channel Array - (2) Snell Sub-1800, (1) Snell THX Music & Cinema Reference Tower, (1) Murata Super Tweeter.
Each of the 8.8 channels is amplified in six separate frequency ranges (in descending order of frequency): Coloratura (20,000 - 102,500 Hz) Soprano (15,000 - 25,0000 Hz) Alto (8,000 - 18,500 Hz) Tenor (250 - 12,000 Hz) Baritone(62.5 Hz - 440 Hz) Bass (DC - 80 Hz) Distortion has been reduced to an absolute minimum! It's like being there, and frequently - better than!!! www.kipnis-studios.com Did somebody say, "Star Wars"? This was taken last year before I redid the lighting and acoustic treatments for the room. www.kipnis-studios.com Here's another familiar view! I would be delighted to offer anyone who is seriously interested a complete hand tailored demonstration featuring your favorite film, television, photography, games, internet, music . . . you name The Source. By Appointment Only, Please. www.kipnis-studios.com Quote:

For those not familiar, below is Sony's Flagship Projector which features 8.89 megapixels, over four times that of 1080P.
It has 10,000 ANSI Lumens, Ultra-Wide DCM Color Space, 240 Hz internal refresh (in the processors), and can make HD sources look better than just about anything else under the sun. Watch for it at a theater near you, soon. Or see it right now, in The Kipnis Studio Standard! www.kipnis-studios.com Last edited by The Kipnis Studios; 10-10-2007 at 01:17 PM.. Reason: Additions |
