I have a PS3 as well as a Toshiba HD-DVD player. The PS3 really is and excellent performer and the only complaint I have is the lack of a IR window so I can control it with my Harmony remote.

Are there any plans to make a similar device for only 2 or 1 inputs and a single output to extract the new HD sound codecs? I would like to try one of these out but at $700 makes me shy away.
