wonder how DirecTV, DISH and the cable companies are going to respond to Verizon's new FIOS offering (free 19" Sharp HD LCD TV) for customers who sign up for their "triple play" services here in metro NY?

My buddy James has the Fios service in Malibu and it doesn't work well.
He doesn't get all the HD channels I do with my dish and MPG4 receiver and when it does go down - he is basically out of business as it is his voice, data and HD all in one. I believe in a little more diversity than that for my system.
