How to check your IR emitters
 

Here's a trick I recently learned, If you are having problems with your IR remote you can check to see if the emitters are working, just look at it through a digital camera while holding down a button & if they are working you should see something like this,

Now that's one I haven't heard of before!

Moose, just what were you doing in front of your computer to find this one out??? I hope it didn't have something to do with your screen saver.. Now if you had the 890 remote you wouldn't need to worry about IR...

No it's something I heard a couple of years ago & thought it was a neat trick.
As for my desktop, what can I say, Olivia Munn (From G4TV) rocks as Princess Leia Organa! :)

As for the 890 I don't have any RF gear, what I need is for them to come out with a 880 with IR & BT so I could operate my PS3 with just 1 remote!

I hear ya'

I keep my gear way off to the side so I need the RF or I'll never have control, your system has it all up front so IR is suffucient, well except for the BT......

That was a 100% completion for Motorstorm I downloaded so I could unlock the cool cars & use them in online play!
