I'm not looking for more power. The Paradigms and Axioms are quite efficient (so I'm perfectly able to blast my eardrums quite well already :-).
Rather, I'm trying to understand what I need to step up to in order to obtain that next level of musicality and sonic pureness (vs. what the 805 provides). Not sure if it is a $500, 1K, 2.5K, or 5K step to really make a difference. |

Listen, I believe Andrew is right on it. Try the NAD again before making another purchase. Now, if that does not do it for you, then you have some experimenting to do. But, one step at a time.
