Incredible sound and power, and a solid build quality. Awsome surround processing, XM ready, usb, HDMI, and alot more. Do not let the rated 75X7 power rating fool you, it is just as powerful as many other higher end receivers, made by DENON, Yamaha, Onkyo and others.
But I was told Harman Kardon HK745 has only 2 HDMI ports. I was, at one time, looking at HK models purely for its name (and truly nothing else) - until I was pointed towards Yamaha and Onkyo models mentioned in the thread above.

Someone please help me! I'm confused now!
Thanks a ton

You are correct in that, the Harman/Kardon AVR645, and 745: has two HDMI inputs and one output, and they are of the older 1.1. I have heard that you can buy an add-on HDMI switcher for around $300. I know that Sherwood Newcastle makes one. I do not know whether it is 1.1 or the newer 1.3, and I'm sure that there are others. Check out the Sherwood at http://www.sherwoodamerica.com/prod_hsb600.html.

I have (and love) the Sherwood Newcastle R-671 which, unfortunately for you, only has 2 HDMI 1.1 inputs. However, the new R-872 (MSRP: $999) was just released and it features not 2 not 3 but 4 HDMI 1.3 inputs! Check it out at:
