I am feeding Pandora streaming audio from the app on my Samsung BD-C6800 3D Blu Ray Player to my Onkyo receiver. The audio drops out unexpectedly at the beginning of songs randomly. Sometimes it comes back on much later but it makes for an annoying streaming experience. I am using 1.4 HDMI cables throughout and I replaced the cable from the DVD player to the receiver. The Samsung 7000 series LCD TV shows the Pandorra song as continuing to stream but there is no sound. I have to switch the Onkyo DVD input to something (anything) different and then back to the DVD input and the sound resumes. I think it is something in the receiver dropping the signal. Onkyo tech blamed the cables which I changed to no avail.
I am frustrated with this and this receiver. Your help please. Thanks |
