true hd sound

I have a lg bd390 blu-ray and a sony str-dh800 av receiver, when i play a blu-ray the sound says linear pcm, how do i get the the true hd sound. thanks. I am using hdmi cables

I think something is wrong with your Blu-ray, maybe some setting is done wrong, try reviewing your user manual if not then check with the Blu-ray support
