Looking through the specs, all I could find was an extra HDMI out, component out support for second zone and built-in Wi-Fi support in the 4308 over the 3808 (besides the extra 10WPC). Hardly worth an extra $1000.

From what my dealer told me the upgraded amps alone are worth the extra $1000!
I know I wish I had gotten the 4308 even though I really like my 3808ci.

I am leaning towards the Denon 4308. I have a great experience with my old 3803, but I think it is time to upgrade with my move. What has anyone heard about the quality of the internet radio feature?

I like it, while IR isn't the best sonics, it does give me access to music from stations all over the world, I can listen to trance from Amsterdamn, blues from chicago, and Jazz from SF.

I too considered the 4308, but didn't need that for my bedroom where it is going, I got a better price on the Marantz and for the use I have for it, it was all I needed.

You go to radiodenon.com where you can choose from almost 11,000 internet radio stations, podcasts, etc & set up your preferences & they can stream over your receiver.
It is pretty cool & I've had a lot of fun with it.
