Onkyo 705 or Sherwood Newcastle R-772 and where can I buy a
Sherwood Newcastle R-772 online?

My speakers are Def Tech, Currently using a HK 7200 with a separate power amp.

Well, as HOMETHEATER DOCTOR I see a lot of receivers people
buy and need installed but Marantz takes the cake at being
the most complicated set-up and a horrible owners manual.
I had to call the HELP line twice just to activate the toslink
inputs for the HD cable/HDR and the DVD player.
I would download the manual for any receiver before you buy
it to see if its owner-set up friendly. Many, many are not!!!!!!

While Marantz aren't the simplest (Sunfire earns that title!) they aren't that bad, kind of clunky menus but otherwise I've always found them pretty straight forward, sorry to hear of your troubles.
