Onkyo TX-SR805
 

Just got mine yesterday, $932.00 inc all in from J&R. Sounds great! Played Fall of Man on the PS3 in THX mode, sounded great. Picture quality very nice, setup was very easy.

very interested in a possible purchase of this reciever.
Does the HDMI connection to reciever give a better picture then direct to TV ??

Sorry I have not replied sooner, daughter is not feeling well.

The video is beautiful! I have my PS3 and HD Cable and both are just beautiful. The DO seem to be better then before, when I had each source patched directly to the TV.

I love this unit! My ES gear is going on ebay this week...

Thanks a bunch I'm going to look into this unit.
I have toshiba HD-dvd...Hd-cable and thinking of PS3 if the price drops.

Hopefully the ONkyo will fill all my needs.

I've read some great reviews on this unit.
Amazon has it for $899.00.
I think I'll wait for a price drop..............but who really wants to wait !!!
I'm going to Check prices again.
