Best RPHDTV Mitsubishi Dimond DLP hands down. if you disagree your dumb.
1080p, 120hz, 6 color light engin, xvcolor, deep color, perfect color, perfect tent, 4 hdmi, deepfield imager, dark detailer, 180watt turbo light bulb, plush 1080p upscaling, 3d, game fx, net command, tv guid daily, extreemly shallow as small as 14"deep and 65lbs on the 57 and as big as 17"deep and 98lbs on the 73, sexy gloss black finish with a dimond logo in the botton center, and of corse the new sbl feature (sexy blue lights). |

Well if you are interested in good picture quality then the Mitsubishis are probably not the right choice. XV and Deep color aren't even available on software transfers yet so don't get so exicted about meaningless specs. The Perfect color is a pathetic attempt to give you some control over the incredibly inaccurate color decoding that they continue to put in their sets even when most other manufacturers are getting right out of the box. It is a big mistake to buy on manufacturers specifications. Caveat Emptor!
As far as fidelity and accuracy in RPTVs the Samsung HL-S and HL-T series DLP RPTVs are capable of delivering the best pictures, but of course you will need to have it calibrated to realize that potential.

I just took a look at the new Sony A3000 SXRD, and enjoyed the image quality quite a bit. They look somehow less digital to me than the DLP sets.
