Rear Projection at CEDIA - missing???
There was a disctinct abscence of rear projection sets at CEDIA.
TONS of large plasmas. Lots of exensive LCDs and MORE than the fair share of front projecton but rear projection HDTV was notciibly missing to my eyes.

They are probably the best value in video, but do not have enough of the cool factor. Thin, sexy, etc. Its a shame, but I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

idk if you went to the dlp booth but there were plenty of rear projections there. mitsubishi's booth had some dlps, sonys booth had some sxrds, and samsungs booths had some dlps as well. i would say there were plenty. ntm samsung and mitsubishi both introduced there 3d dlps mits's with 120hz and xv color.

decongreg i dont agree with you about the lack sexy in rptvs. Have you seen a mitsubishi dimond dlps. That has to be the most sexy tv on the planet.
