70" problems continue

I'm on my 2nd replacement optical block in my Sony SXRD display. You know the green blob. Who would have ever thought? Sometimes the picture looks terrific. Other times, it is so, so with motion problems and not as sharp. I did notice that when the service co. came out, the replacement optical block box said, this part may be new or refurbished. Are there no replacement parts for these displays? Can they actually fix them? Is there another issue that somebody can enlighten me to? Possibly another part that should be replaced. Thanks guys,
