Best 1080p TV on the market up to $2200?

Hi Guys,

I hate to rain on anyone's parade, but I recently had the opportunity to review and directly compare the Mitsubishi Diamond series WD-65833 to the Sony KDS-55A3000. The Sony smoked the Mitz in every regard. The color accuracy of the Sony is now umatched by any other RPTV, and the Mitsubishi gets worst in class. The Six segment color wheel doesn't mean diddly, and the Perfect Color and Tint features and badly implemented bandaids on a gushing wound of incredibly bad color. The green is so pathetic that it is instantly recognizable even when you aren't comparing it to something as accurate as the Sony.

It looks like I may need to go out and get myself a Sony. Thanks for the info Kevin. Darren, you can't go wrong with a Sony. Buy what looks best to you.

Kevin, is the Sony 55A3000 identical to the 50A3000 except for the size?

Kevin I haven't had the opportunity to run any tests on the Samsung LED sets, but I've got some "green" friends who have been asking me about them.

Do you have any idea how accurate the color can be on them?
