I just got the press release for this unit, seems it will add ISF certified calibration controls as well as THX loudness Plus and Audyssey's Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume, otherwise I expect to changes.

There is also a network jack for who knows what. I do not think it's for internet radio, but you never know. Other than that, maybe it will have similar functions to Denon's. It would be nice if it could do firmware updates, because Integra/Onkyo are having problems with this now.


My dealer says his Integra rep knows nothing about an announcement date or Cedia.

The ethernet port on the 9.9 can be used for IP control with systems like Control4 or AMX or Crestron. I believe there's also a feature that will allow for firmware upgrades.
