They spoke openly ofd the v5 and v6 last CEDIA, but then had the v5 on display @ CES with a huge placard over it saying Meridian 861v4.25....

When I say "hinted at" I just meant that I don't think they have disclosed what upgrades the V5 and V6 will have. I believe there may be a change in the architecture as I believe you can't upgrade from V4 to V5, you have to upgrade to V6. I believe one of the big changes will be the introduction of the apodizing filters introduced in the 808.2 and the DSP7200s. Another three weeks and hopefully lots of questions will be answered.

I don't dislike Classe, I have just not heard any Classe products that I wanted to buy.
I do dislike the Proceed AVP. The Bass Management, multiple layers of menus - making it unduly difficult to set-up, and horrible little remote are why I don't like it. Also, when I heard it in a head to head with a older Yamaha pre/pro, the Yamaha actually sounded better.
