Asahikasei,
If you didn't know that people take Krell seriously anymore then you obviously know nothing about high end audio. It's great that you post all of these pictures trying to prove that a $20,000 processor is the same as a $500 one. However, A) You will not convince anyone on this forum B) You should go listen to a Krell evolution system to see what high-end is C) Go away |

As far as pictures for the 707, Dan and his staff only had brouchures on the Evolution amps, preamps, and the KID. No literature was available for the Modulaire Two`s or the 707. Dan mentioned maybe by the spring, April, don`t quote me on that, would we see the 707, if memory serves. |

Unlike most of the people on the AVS Forum - I have owned the Krell Evolution system and while at dinner last night with the VP from Mark Levinson (their most heated competitor) I told them JUST how good the Krells were. I defy you to find a better amp at any price. The best bass. Clear and open highs. Stunning dynamics. 3d imaging. YES its expensive but its worth it. And if you want to crack open the box on the preamp - you wont see some jackass AV preamp/receiver parts. This is REAL high end audio with real engineering the way Dan D'agostino does it best.

I have several Krell components including an Evo 402 so I know how good the products are. In fact, I have heard a full Evolution system with Evo 900 monoblocks, 505 and 202 with Krell's protoype speaker all demoed by Dan himself. It was amazing to say the least.

Asahikasei,
Someone I knew maybe, 15 years ago had the first Krell amplifier I had seen in house with a pair of the first NHT3.3 with the side firing woofers. The bass was astounding. Maybe to good if that is possible. Not sure of the model number, but looked similar to the famed KSA-100. Bulit like a tank, clean power. Hard for me to believe that folks at AVS went elsewhere, unless their pockets were empty. And their reviews in just about every audio mag and journal are very positive. I don`t know about AVS..................................... ............... |
