What do you guys think is the better choice out of the Denon 3808ci vs Emotiva MMC1/IPS-1?

I know the Denon is a strong choice. Blue-chip.

I have learned more and more about the Emotiva in recent weeks. From everything I can tell, its a front runner for the value preamp of choice. A great deal and reportedly VERY strong customer service.

I am not 100% sure and a call to Emotiva is likely in order but I would guess the Emotiva has the old HDMI as of right now.

Guess it is a moot point since a call to Emotiva tells me the MMC-1 only does video and won't pass the 1.3a bandwidth for audio. MMC-1 not coming out till late March and it is a jump in price.
