Panasonic Consumer vs Pro
Hey All,
I've been a lurker for a while now...finally ready to bug someone! :) Just returned from CEDIA, looking at the consumer 1080p Panasonic Plasma's vs the Proline. They only have a few Pro Plasma's and they were not labeled....so I wasn't sure if they were 1080p (the Pro ones). Question: The Pro models have always looked better to me...plus I can get them at cost (I'm an installer)..heck..I cna get both the consumer and Pro... But I hate to spend $$ on the consumer models that lack RS232 inputs(for integration) and speakers I nerver will use......but I want 1080p I know the Panasonic models TH-50PF9UK, the 65" and the 103" are 1080p.....but WHY do they have the 9UK model number instead of the 10UK? Are they the same "glass" as the TH-50PZ77U or TH-50PZ750U??? And what so we think about the 58"?? (I know they are not 1080p).. Any thoughts? D |
Re: Panasonic Consumer vs Pro
I sue the pro models at Kevin Miller's recomendations. They seem better and more open to top calibration

Hey Jerry,
Who's Kevin....and can he chime in? Dwayne |
Re: Panasonic Consumer vs Pro
I have the consum,er model and it is pretty good for a plasma!
When I get around to it, I'd prefer the new Pioneer Elite ones... |
Kevin Miller
I emailed him to see if he can post onto the forum. He gets busy with ISF trainings and travel with his calibration business...
