Slim-bezel 37'' TV

Hello! I would like to replace my old CRT TV with a flat screen, but am faced with a stupid furniture restriction. The width of the TV should not exceed 89cm and the height should be 58cm at most. A 32-inch TV would fit nicely, but would be smaller than my current TV (vertically). All the 37-inch TVs I have seen so far are slightly bigger than 89x58 - often by such a tiny extent that it's especially annoying! Is there a 37-inch TV with a very narrow bezel? I have seen a narrow bezel on much bigger screens but not on 37''s for some reason. Why aren't there any 35'' and 36'' TVs? :-( Thanks!

Maybe mount it outside the opening and let it overlap.

Well GrayGoblin, there finally is a 37" LCD HDTV that has a 34.4" (87.4cm) width which will accommodate my bedroom armoire (34.5" internal width). It's the new Panasonic TC-L37DT30, see:

It's a little pricey, because it's 3D and Internet ready, but if it fits then that's what counts. Both LG and Samsung don't have anything close to 34.4" (wide) dimension.

I've been looking for this size TV for quite sometime and will purchase one soon.

Thanks! I was considering the Panasonic but ended up with a 40-inch Samsung 8-series. Very pricey, but it fit perfectly. The technically equivalent 7-series would have saved me 200-300 Euro but was 1 cm too wide :-)

Samsung is amaizing, but purely money-wise I would have been better off replacing the furniture!

i think replacing the furniture is the best way to come out from this problem.
