picture but no sound

I have hooked up and activated a starchoice HD receiver to our HD Panasonic tv via HDMI cable. We have picture but no sound. We have sound when we hook up and use our DVD to the tv. Any advice is appreciated.

Some receivers need to have the HDMI audio enabled in the menus.
