Edge Effects on LED Backlit LCD TV's - Page 2

I've actually done some additional digging and it sounds like the issue may not be the LED backlighting but is instead the result of the 240 Hz scan rate. An article I found online (I've forgotten where) along with talking to another guy at work both sound exactly like what I seem to be seeing. It just so happens that a lot of LED TV's were coming out about the same time that more TV's with the higher scan rates were hitting the market. It may be that on some manufacturers it's worse than others and maybe LCD is worse with the higher scan rates than plasma.
