Is a 103 inch Plasma TOO BIG?

Only one comment.....when ISF calibrating ANY Panasonic, I have found the STD picture mode, not Cinema to provide a better basis as a starting point. I would love to see if the blacks become BLACK & most of the artifacts that appeared, GO AWAY. The 50's & 42's that I have done turn out "well"!!!!!!!!

I wonder how much more difficult it is to calibrate a 103 inch set versus a 65 inch or smaller set.

I have seen the 103 in many places and there are often distortions towards the edges. Motion artifacts - the likes you don't see from a video projector.

With that said - its still not a 103 inch plasma.

Stewart StarGlass. Goes larger, cheaper, and can be upgraded as technology changes because you change out a projector vs a whole TV. Oh, and you can watch the sucker in broad daylight. Honestly, I think these super plasmas are more or less R&D one offs like the Bugatti Veyron. Sure you can buy one technically, they're not necessarilly made with that specifically in mind, as much as they are for bragging rights for the brand thus propelling sales elsewhere in their line of products. If size and performance are your ultimate goal you wouldn't look to a 103 inch plasma, I don't care who makes it. At that size it's all about showing off, nothing more.
