Toshiba TV in Canada
I have just bought a Toshiba 52XV545U directly from Toshiba Canada. I picked it up Dec 19th, 2008
Surprise. The TV stopped working properly in first two hours. The screen started to show some extra red colors until finally it became completely red.
What do I expect from Toshiba?
Either replacing the TV with a brand new one or refunding the money. Surprise! The TV can be repaired only. No other options. So I have to come home everything that a technician wants to come over and replace a part in the TV.
I am at the merci of the tech until it gets fixed.
The tech has already came over and he suspects a couple of issues. He is going to start from one and continue until it works. The 52" TV has been mounted on the wall painfully and has to come out before any repair done.
I understand when stuff not working theyshould be repaired. But it is common to replace the equipments that are broken from day one or up to 15 to 30 days.
The real question is if TV had came with 5 dead pixels what did I have to do? Live with it? Just because it is less than the ten?
What type of one sided policy is this?
