"I have a 50" Kuro and love it more than any TV I have ever seen. Not the Brand new one this year but got it for a Grand less than the new one. But I do go to other More brand name places like Best buy and Even the Sony store and still love my picture better. Just my option."
You can't go wrong with any of the Pioneer or Pioneer Elite Kuro's. They are all great. I have a Pioneer 60" 1080p Kuro in my media room and I have a friend that sells Pioneer Elite's and bought the 50" Kuro for my den. I couldn't be happier with both of these Pioneer products. Greg |

It used to be that typical "wisdom" was that LCD's were less reflective than plasmas and thus were better in sunny or well-lit rooms. However I real a review (can't remember where) that specifically said that the Kuro's anti-glare technology was significantly less reflective than Samsung's LCDs. That is the TV I lust for. Although I have recently heard that the Panasonic 850 was as good as the Kuro and had better menu's. However I find it is about as expensive as the Kuro. I'd prefer the Pioneer any day. Most of my components are Pioneer Elite.

I love my KURO 6020. I love it so. I probably love it more than any man should love an inanimate object.
I have a Sharp 46" Aquos 84 series that I now refer to as my junk TV after experiencing the KURO. The only downside... PANEL BUZZ!!! Grrrrrrrrr. As soon as there is any audio in your source material though you won't notice it (though one of the many friends that has come over to be KUROcized noticed it even with sound playing). |

I love my Kuro 50" too.
The Pioneer plasma is the Best plasma available. With a calibration, from HDMI 1 to 4, day & night mode (if possible maked with a Minolta C200 "hardware") you have a very amazing pictures. The LCD have with Sony new models 200hz. a good products...but Pioneer black is unique. http://fr.cinenow.com/videos/1854-pi...ouvelle-ration cheers jagger |

I'm having the same problem that Wes is, although I'm leaning towards the Pioneer. The one issue that has been raised that I'm curious about is the "panel buzz" mentioned in illusion8055's post. Is this an ongoing problem with the Pioneer Kuro series?
