Narrow Bezel 37" LCD

It should be possible for most LCD TV manufacturers to make a 37" narrow bezel model that will fit into a 36" wide armoire (34.5" inside width). Toshiba has the Regza line which their 37" model is still too wide at 35.6" and the new Sharp LC-37XL8E is 35.4". I'm still waiting.

It looks like Sony is getting close. They just introduced a 42" and a 47" narrow bezel LCD's (FWD-S42H1 and FWD-S47H1):

My calculations reveal that if Sony made a 37" FWD series slim-bezel LCD display, it would fit nicely in the popular sized 36" width (34.5" inside dimension) armoire. What are they waiting for?

I played that game looking for LCDs a year or so back. I ended up with 3 (two 40" and one 37") Mitsubishis since they had the best picture with narrowest bezel.

rlpiii,

Unfortunately Mitsubishi doesn't make a 37" LCD, see: http://mitsubishi-tv.com/flat.html.

If they offered their 40" LT-40148 series in a 37", it would be < 34" wide and therefore fit.
