Not if he is out of work. If they have it, he'll probably just drool on it like the rest of us.

Ah,rlpiii, you might underestimate the power of my shopping addiction.....

Actually I wouldn't buy one as $2,499 for a small display? I don't care how good it looks, for $2,499 for an 11" monitor, it's less than 1/4th the size of my computer monitor, what the heck could I do with it??? Mount it on some sort of helmet?

Make it in 60" and I'd like one for the bedroom!

Hopefully your addiction follows some logic. . . buying an 11" screen for ~$2500 is ridiculous. . . . well I guess you could buy like 12 and piece them together to make a big screen. . . Even for $500, I have no idea what to use an 11" screen for. . . maybe set it up as a digital picture frame? . . . who knows. . .

That's kind of my thinking, I mean nowadays screen sizes have grown, I can remember growing up (I am 40 now!) that a 19" TV was HUGE! Now, my computer uses a 23" with a huge number more times resolution than that set....

The only thing about 19" is huge - can be found at the AVN Awards...

Man up and buy a real TV...

9 feet like mine.

Knowing me and my propensity for purchasing things you must have seen the glint in my eye with all the cool projectors we've seen at shows! If I could control light, I'd have one, but in my current home it is just impossible to do and with the current TV there, I could only get a throw distance of ~14 ft.

Depending on what happens with the new job, I might relocate and maybe I can find a house I can put a dedicated theater into.......
