LCD Burn't screen
 

I have a 37 inch Acer LCD that is one & ahalf years old.Three weeks ago I wiped off the dust on the screen.Now I have a big burn right in the middle of the screen.On the inside of the screen.Can anyone hepl me thank-you craiggirges.

Are you sure it's on the inside?
Is it possible you scratched the screen cleaning it?
What did you use to clean it?
Some cleaners could damage the screen & if you used a spray cleaner it's possible it leaked down & was wicked into the area between the screens.

Could you post a picture of the damage?

No it's not a scratch.And it is burn't in between the screens.I used window cleaner and it did not seep between the screens.About the picture I'm not sure if I can I will have to wait for my daughter to drop over.Thank-you craiggorges

I am not sure I would recommend window cleaner on your HDTV for cleaning EVER.

Use a fine cloth. Dry if you can but slightly damp if needed. That's about it.

I use a guitar cloth that came with my Wilson speakers. You can get them for basically nothing at a guitar store.

The cleaning instructions that came with my set said to use a 50/50 solution of water & amonia free glass cleaner with a soft cloth.
