That's pretty quick, especially in the hills you have there! I will need to get in better shape before I make it back to Portugal to cycle with you!

dont get me wrong, i dont race i just try to go with them and belive me, sometimes its very very hard,yesterday we did 102km with very hot weather,avg speed was just 28 kmh but was a good training.

I generally average ~18 mph =/- depending on my motivation and the terrain, ride from 25-70 miles, again depending on motivation, and in florida, yep, it's already sick hot.... will be for months!

Is that the recent crash in Mexico??? We had a similar one right here in St Pete Florida a few years back, driver got out of his car and said "serves you right for riding on the road". He killed some people and injured many great cyclists and racers and didn't even get a flippin' ticket!!! I have been lucky and not gone down in a long time, but let me tell you, at 30 mph with only spandex between you and the road, it hurts, and road rash isn't a short term pain......
